AW Machinery Appoints Isaac Roth, Leader with Fortune 500 Experience, as CEO
AW Machinery Welcomes Isaac Roth as CEO
AW Machinery is pleased to announce the appointment of Isaac Roth as CEO. Roth spent the past 20 years working for a small, family-run business that eventually became part of a Fortune 500 company.
A Vision for Growth and Leadership
With decades of experience in marketing, sales, and business strategy, Roth steps into this new leadership role at AW Machinery with a wealth of experience and a clear vision, too.
“My goal is to provide stability and backend business management to support this company so it can continue to thrive and grow as a premier supplier of industrial woodworking equipment,” Roth says. “I aim to work with the equipment partners we represent to ensure that we are providing customers with the best solutions and service at the best prices possible.”
AW Machinery has grown steadily over the course of its ten-year existence. To encourage this growth to continue, owner Dan Troyer and the rest of the company’s leadership concluded that the business needed additional leadership.
“We need to be proactive in making the right decisions,” Troyer explains. “Ultimately, we need more leadership and mindfulness about where the company is headed, with intentional planning and a good plan for the future. With Isaac Roth as our new CEO, we will have a leader who is dedicated to the future development and growth of AW Machinery — welcome aboard, Isaac!”
Strengthening Customer Relationships
Roth’s focus on business management will allow Troyer — who will remain with the company — to focus on customer relationships. As a matter of fact, Troyer’s customer-centric approach to the business is what attracted Roth to the company in the first place.
“In my opinion, the best thing about AW Machinery — hands down — is our customer consulting and long-term customer service,” Roth says. “This team is exceptional at understanding our customers’ unique needs and keeping them up to date with the latest industrial woodworking equipment innovations to drive their businesses forward.”
A Journey Built on Trust and Experience
Roth found himself at AW Machinery’s doorstep, interviewing for the CEO position because of his former boss of 20 years.
“When my former General Manager retired, he started consulting for local businesses, and AW Machinery was one of the companies he helped,” Roth says. The General Manager soon realized Roth would be a good fit for the company. “Twenty years of working with him led to this position.”
But it was the people at AW Machinery who sold him on the company in the end.
“I had peace deciding to leave a 20-year career, knowing that I would be joining an incredible team of hardworking, knowledgeable and God-honoring people” Roth says. “It’s an absolute blessing to work with the people of AW Machinery who prioritize their customers first while honoring a higher kingdom with their business. I’ll continue to make sure we keep those priorities first going forward.”
